Meet Caroline
About Me
Hey! My name is Caroline Simmerman and I live in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. After finishing Hotel Management School (BA Degree), I worked in hotels, car rental, and tech mobility companies. I help companies generate partnerships, revenue streams, and create win-wins.
After finishing Hotel Management School (BA Degree) in 2000, I started working in the hotel industry with Park Plaza Hotels Europe in various roles and moved in 2008 to the car rental industry. I managed all the marketing and PR activities for Hertz Benelux. In 2014 I moved to the UK for Hertz International to lead partnerships as Director Partnership Sales. After this great experience, I started working in 2019 at a start-up tech and mobility company Karhoo (part of Mobilize – Renault Group) as VP Business Development to set up and lead all partnerships globally.
It is a great honour to work and have worked with fantastic OTA, Airline, Mobility, OBT's, Loyalty, Corporate, Railway, Cruiseline, Assistance, Finance, Hotel and Healthcare Companies.
As I am passionate about connecting people, creating win-wins and solving challenges in the travel and mobility industry, it was great timing to do what I dreamed of, starting my own business.
And here I am, proudly presenting Sparks, your global travel & mobility consultancy where I support companies to generate partnerships, revenue streams, develop business and create a win for all involved.
